Since my tint are starting to fade and noticed few nicks and scratches, I decided to remove it off from my car.

Thanks to the previous owner for using high quality film that it took less than 30 min to remove them off from all 3 rear windows.
I was expecting to be a "project nightmare" but, it was really quick...no damage on rear window defroster lines as well ! ;)

If you are planning to remove your tint, make sure you do it on HOT summer days...much easier than during winter time.

After long wait of 3 weeks, finally I was able pick up our new family car today.
Here is a last good bye shot of my Altezza and new ride.

Yes, Altezza does not look like 17 years old car...during my 7 years of ownership, I drove less than 20K.
I hope next owner will enjoy this great 4 door sedan as much as I did... :|

Yeahhh, My Toyota Tacoma is drive by wire too :/

May be some one made a kit like the hondas to convert the S2K's AP2 like the AP1's without the drive by wire thing...

Wow! big snow man!

here we didn't have snow...

keep it safe man!

In Tokio use salt on the roads like they do in USA?

May be I should start researching on "Throttle Controller" that are available from many aftermarket manufactures.

According to the news, last time when it snowed in Tokyo in November was 54 years ago...
I don't think we use salt on the roads in Tokyo like they do in the state side... :P

Back to my winter set...Yes, I know, I need to wash my car.

This year's December weather here in Tokyo is really weird.
One day it was snowing all day...and next day is near spring weather.
But, again this morning was freezing cold... :|

Warming up at 0615...

hmm...not really.
From it's description, I would pay less than 1/3 of their asking price.
With a new paint and fixing all the damages may be 3K at the most.
(but, I guess it will be kind a rare ride in the state side so, people may have different opinion)

...and I would like to suggest changing their business name to something else as well...

Haha, yes, this is quite the rarity here in the states, but you are correct, I thought it a little steep as well, and the "after paint" price just seems a little too ridiculous -_-.

Does that name mean something strange in Japanese?

When I first saw your post, I did not want to click on the link...especially at work.
I am not sure if they are trying to be funny but, [OPPAI], [O-Pie] means....BOOBS, TITS.

That link has Japanese Character on top as well that to me, it does not make sense at all.
Their business name is translated as : TITS GARAGE ...

LOL Kai,

Sorry for the scare at work, I had no idea. In the states, there are lots of younger kids that say something is "the tits" as in it's really cool/great, so maybe that is what they are going for.

Or maybe they just like boobs?

The weirdest name for a business that I've seen, was when I lived in Hawaii. My rent check was made out to "Oishi Property Management"; they were anything but delicious :P
