Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
hmm...not really.
From it's description, I would pay less than 1/3 of their asking price.
With a new paint and fixing all the damages may be 3K at the most.
(but, I guess it will be kind a rare ride in the state side so, people may have different opinion)
...and I would like to suggest changing their business name to something else as well...

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
Haha, yes, this is quite the rarity here in the states, but you are correct, I thought it a little steep as well, and the "after paint" price just seems a little too ridiculous -_-.
Does that name mean something strange in Japanese?

When I first saw your post, I did not want to click on the link...especially at work.
I am not sure if they are trying to be funny but, [OPPAI], [O-Pie] means....BOOBS, TITS.
That link has Japanese Character on top as well that to me, it does not make sense at all.
Their business name is translated as : TITS GARAGE ...

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
LOL Kai,
Sorry for the scare at work, I had no idea. In the states, there are lots of younger kids that say something is "the tits" as in it's really cool/great, so maybe that is what they are going for.
Or maybe they just like boobs?
The weirdest name for a business that I've seen, was when I lived in Hawaii. My rent check was made out to "Oishi Property Management"; they were anything but delicious

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
No apology needed...I love boobs....LOL.
As for myself, after living in Hawaii for nearly 10 years and 15 years in SoCal, I have seen many interesting business names, too.
But, as you may guess, there are so many interesting names, logos are flooded here in Japan, too...aka "JINGLISH".
The best one by far is few years ago, I saw a listing for a "TOW HOOK" for cars at Yahoo Auction.
The seller / shop described as USDM/STANCE -street style "TOW FUxx"...I know...speechless right?

Before I start deleting ALL of my posts / topics here at club4ag, I would like to thank everyone who has posted kind comments.
I may sound cheap but, I am not going to pay $400/year for my photobucket account or re-posting ALL my pictures here at club4ag using some other photo sharing sites.....

just for future reference, flickr is a good free option. Its under Yahoo so I doubt it will ever go away or cost money to use.

There is a reason I don't make youtube videos about the 86 build..
I have this weird thing about my face and voice being recorded for all time on the internet

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V

As of July 2017, I trade in my EP91 aka "little monster" for a SUZUKI Hustler as a gift for my wife.
Above picture was taken on the last day, after the final car wash, 3 hours before heading to the dealership for trade in.
I think my EP looks still fine for 19 yrs old & I really enjoyed every moment when I was behind the wheel...sad to say good bye but, life must go on.
Now, my current daily is Toyota Vitz G's (former "wife's car" aka Family Car) that I am probably going to keep it as is.
As for the SUZUKI Hustler - equipped with 3 cylinder 660cc INTERCOOLER / TURBO is actually very quick that I was totally underestimating the performance of the K-car. (Those of you who knows about K-car situation here in Japan, Yes, I applied for a "limited time only" special white plate.)

This will be my final post for my EP and I would like to thank EVERYONE for the kind comments and support.
Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
OK...it took me over 3 weeks to move ALL my photos from photobucket to flickr.
Performed major clean up on this topic and all my photos are up again.

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
Yes sir, I had a lexus auto for awhile, while my other manual trans cars were off. It had paddle shift, which was cool, but I just have to have a manual car
.
But, they die off every year so I'm sure soon enough they'll all be gone

My current daily is also equipped with paddle shift that I used less than 5 times within last 2 years ...

Hopefully, some day I can go back to the manual trans.
I know no one cares about my current daily but, here is a quick 15min upgrade that I performed today.
Installed the Bellof LED Fog Lights Conversion Kit that I believe they are simply the best in quality that you can purchase in today's market.
I just love this yellow/green beams.

Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
Those lights are pretty cool but kinda pricey. Too bad we don't have a Super Autobachs in the states anymore cause it doesn't seem like they would be easy to find here. Looks good though!

Thank you for your comments. Yes, MSRP are really pricy but, it totally worth it IMO.
When I reside in SoCal, my house was 15min away from Super Autobacs.
Hard to believe that it's been almost 10yrs since they closed their door...
(I heard that location is now DMV...kind a ironic isn't it ??)
Re: EP91 Starlet Glanza V
It is a DMV now, I still live right by it. I remember that was the hot spot for car meets too on weekends. I used to live in Garden Grove but now I'm closer to Long Beach.

Yes, I met lot of club4ag members at their parking lot...it was so perfect location.
My last home was also in Garden Grove as well (Orangewood / Brookhurst) ...missing SoCal life very much!!
