Visiting the USA

Postby totta crolla » Fri Jul 04, 2014 1:26 am

I'm going to see my Brother in Sacramento over Christmas 2014 and I will be there for 3 weeks :D
This will be my first time in America.
Anyone out that way so that I can get my '86 fix while I'm there ?

you plan on bringing a broken car from the UK to the USA to fix while on vacation and bring it back to the UK?

are there no shops in the UK that can work on cars? the price on shipping alone would pay for another corolla.

Give me a shout when you get here. I'm in San Francisco. I should have mine running by the time you get here.. We'll go out for a good ol' spin....

Bring your Corolla, I'll help to get it fix - haha

I'm in sacramento. I'd be down to take you for a spin through the local hills.

I think you missed that it says "fix," and not "fixed."

I'm up in Reno and in a Miata these days, but if you make it over the hills, it's only about an hour and a half, let me know.

Christmas and New Year will be a difficult one this year so the trip to the USA was arranged to help take me away from it for a while. I won't want to go home !
I'm overwhelmed by the response and kindness of you guys.
Thanks so much.
