Anyone have that DIY Reupholstery thread from the old forum?

Postby Turtle » Tue Apr 23, 2013 10:34 am

Remember that DIY re-upholstery thread in which the poster basically deconstructed the GT-S seats, reverse-engineered patterns for the seat and sewed together the whole thing?

I rather enjoyed reading that one and always wanted to try it out (but I don't have a sewing machine so never got to it). Anyone save it from back in the day for when I bite the bullet and buy a sewing machine? I'd like to read up on that one again. Certainly a gem of the old forum.

Kidding aside, this article is extremely helpful.

I wonder if the member Poser4life who created this reupholstering tread is still active I would love to buy his covers he talked about making for the zenki seats. If anyone know how to get in touch with him I'd really appreciate it. He does wonderful work.
