This one is a long one... In this video, I show the process I have used, to prep the ae86 panels for paint. First, I show how to strip the old paint off, by using a chemical paint stripper. I then fill minor panel imperfections with body filler and show how to properly sand those spots out smooth. It's a long process, but I think it is important to show the whole process for any DIY'ers out there. Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!
Hope you all enjoy!
DIY AE86 Bodywork - How To Strip, Fill, and Sand
Re: DIY AE86 Bodywork - How To Strip, Fill, and Sand
Again, another wonderfully made video. I remember having to do all of this last year lol. A lot of useful information in the video, even if you don't have to do this to your car it is well worth the watch for the knowledge it provides. Thanks for the great video and keep up the good work! Can't wait to see your car when it is finished.

Thanks for the kind words man, I hope some people take away at least something from these videos. Bodywork sucks, but it is a much needed process, especially with our old ae86's hahaha.

Again, I enjoyed watching this 20 min. video.
There were many useful information covered & I highly recommend to watch it if any of the member here is planning to perform DIY bodywork.
(I also love those eyes of your 4 legged buddy....very beautiful.)
Hurry up and get the epoxy primer-!!!! Once again, this topic is now sticky.
