Ive done it, it looks really nice, but it doesn't last long, especially on carpet/fabric type material. It begins to wear away after a while. The more coats you do will help it last a little longer, but in the end it still wears off in about a month. On vinyl/plastic it goes on nice and doesn't wear away fast, but it can flake or chip, ive also found regular paint for cheaper works just as well on the vinyl/plastic though and that doesnt flake as much. Its more like a temp/touch up kind of thing. I found it works best for the console and bezel pieces, carpet and seats are better to have redone or rebought in black. I have heard real dye(not spray-on) such as RIT and etc works, but never tried it.

yea i have to agree it does look good for the first month or so. i did this to a maroon privacy cover and hatch carpet it does look good but i barely touch it and it needs a recoat since the maroon is starting to come through. seats i bet would wear faster and on your cloths too. but it does work tho.
