Just in case somebody here on the forum picked up a 20valve JDM shipped motor for a swap into their 86, I'm looking to buy their tranny.
I have an AW11 MR2 which I recently just did a GZE swap into and need a stronger tranny with LSD to handle the power and also for some skid action.
I'm currently using the stock C50 tranny that came with the NA motors and have been warned that it will break.

I believe I have a c60 trans from my imported blacktop 20v. It's whatever trans came stock with it, if you're interested. Idk if its LSD etc.

Why not use the E- series trans? Especially if the GZE came from an AE101! The E58 has gearing that would work better for the torque band than the C56.
One shot, one kill.

Cool, didn't know about the E series transmissions.
This motor came out of a later model MR2 that was auto.
Well if anybody has an E58 tranny laying around I'll be interested in that too.
