Sakura Fab: W58/R154 to AE86 Transmission Mount

Postby dr.occa » Mon Dec 23, 2013 6:49 pm

A perfect piece to help complete your 1UZFE swap into your AE86.

This mount will space the bottom of your R154 or W58 transmission at the transfer case 2" from the chassis.
Well gusseted and instead of tack welds the mount incorporates full run & penetration welds.

Is this the correct fitment for a 4age with a w58 swap?

This mount will bolt up to the stock w58/r154 transmission mount and also bolt to the factory ae86 chassis transmission mountings. This will put the shifter in the stock location.

The w58 with the 18" shifter location is dead center of the ae86 location.

Sell that one and get this one without long legged spacers that move around.

Hey I'm interested and I don't want to sound repetitive haha I'm doing 3SGE Beams swap with W58 so im getting this smooth vibe that this will bolt up nice. Do you need pictures for reference or does it not matter?

This mount places the shifter nearly dead square where the factory T50 shifter would be if not better. As you can see, the mount holes are slotted with some room for adjust-ability forward/backward. If you want to have the shifter further forward or backward past the mounts limits (because your arms are ultra long or ultra short?) you could channel the bolt holes even further. This mount cradles the W58/R154 trans very nicely.

Double checking, 4ag on standard engine mounts, w57.
Using modified standard transmission mount currently.
Will this mount as per oem fitting trans mount?
If so, price shipped to Australia, 5000
