"New" 4AGE: high comp, w/OST-032 ported head

As title states... I have a completely re-manufactured high comp 4AGE with OST-032 ported head... and it comes with its own delivery device - a 1987 FX16!!

Image

I bought this last spring when I believed my wife and I were moving from Portland to Eugene, so I would have a "commuter" going from Eugene to Portland. Those plans fell flat, we stayed in Portland, so I have no need for this special FX16.

This is a genuine FX16... just not an FX16 GTS... so this is far more stealthy

When I bought the FX it had a bad engine... cyl 3 had ingested a spark plug electrode and did significant damage to both the head and the block. So a new engine was built........

Now to the "New" engine:

7 rib none squirter block, 40mm rod journal crank, 40/18 rods modified to take a press fit 20mm wrist pin, 81.5mm aftermarket 10.3 to one pistons, new Toyota rod bolts/nuts, short block assembled by Loynings, Cometic .036 head gasket, stock 87 and earlier cams, new Toyota (OST ported) oil pump, AEM adjustable timing pulleys, and an OST ported largeport head with a Loynings valve job... All Toyota gaskets except Cometic .036" head gasket

edit - car/engine in Portland, Oregon

$3500 or best offer...

got PM... responded...

Will it pass Ca smog.... there is no reason why it shouldn't.... but the reg/emissions are still good in Oregon till October... so I haven't checked.

Grunt my AE95 sedan popped another head gasket so I've been using this for a bit.... it pulls well from 2500, all the way to redline.... The car itself has a few flaws.... clock and fuel gauge inop, rear hatch, or tail lamps leak, a few squeaks and rattles, but she drives straight, and brakes straight.

Dang, I just dropped almost that much to rebuild just the 20V in mine, and my body's quickly rusting now!
I actually prefer the FX16 to the GTS for the stuff I do, auto and rally-X. Good luck!

shipping this any other way then using the shell to "get it to you"... isn't likely to happen.

From a shippers standpoint this is a used engine carrying "harmful" chemicals (oil and coolant), as such most shippers will not take the engine on its own.

"get it to you" - the car can be driven, it has some flaws... but the car is road capable. The only other way I know is to ship the whole car... as in using a car transporter.
