I know v33sonota already has a rod solution but for you other guys doing 7As I only need about 7 more people to commit before I can do a run of Brian Crower 7A rods.

Sorry v33sonata i did not mean to jump in on ypur thread or any.. If any you would more about a 7ag then i ever could learn about it..
To those who wonder about the blacktop ecu on the 7ag bt ...im not sure if it would work... I just happen to have something which look like a 20v bt 7ag sitting in my garage so im thinking about testing it to see if it really work... That all..

LOL no worries! and I was told that the BT ECU would work just fine on a 7a bt conversion but it wouldn't be the best fit.

No its attached to the stand. I can take one when I put the clutch on before I install it in the car. What do you mean buy what kit are you using?

Wow that's a nice piece of an engine!!

But why did you use 83mm pistons right away? You would have no room in the future (or when something goes wrong with your build) to put even more oversized pistons in i think.

I'm really curious how it'll run with the blacktop ecu. I'm thinking of making a 7AGE 20V in the future as well with only an uprated block, but with a stock head.

I have used this block for 2 other projects so I had to go 83mm as last time I went 82mm. But I did have it sonic checked and they said 83 is no problem. I might even to able to do 84mm.

Looks nice and runs well! You shouldn't only put as breather filter on the cam cover breather pipe, cause I think that's whistling :-)
