Brian Crower BC6355 Connecting Rods install

I'm trying to install Brian Crower BC6355 Connecting Rods into a 4-age engine and discovered that there is a clearance problem. Has anyone dealt with this problem. How much material needs to be removed? It's hard to see the extent of interference but it does even look close.

The Brian Crower website doesn't mention this issue at all.
