20V ST AFM specs

Postby taroroot » Tue Apr 25, 2017 9:18 pm

Does anyone have the actual ohm specs that the 20V silvertop AFM is supposed to be? Been searching around the web but nothing. I read that you can use the Camry 3SFE AFM as a substitute, but it would be nice to measure and compare. I made the mistake of using my original 4AGE one, it runs, but not very nicely .

Wish I knew the testing specs for you but I have also read that the 89 - 91 Camry one will work.

I found a thread on another site that said...
... the 4cyl camry 88-91 would work part number 22250-74101

3SFE 2 liter engine apparently, and the AFM should be dirt cheap from the junkyard.
So probably easier to get one and try it out than find test specs for a car that AFAIK
didn't ever have an English language service manual. Besides, mr220v says it works :)

Thanks. I wish I knew more authoritatively. I picked one up, but I can't tell if it really works better than the 16v one or if its just wishful thinking.
Itd be nice if someone out there has one and measured it for us.
