Trying to figure out if this is the start of VVT rattle of death.

When I first start the engine after it has been sitting for a day or more, it get a rattle/knock as the engine first fires up before the revs drop down to cold idle. rattle/knock goes away after that. I never hear it again.

Its like 2 or 3 knocks and gone.
