As the title suggests, I'm looking for the intake closing event for a stock Blacktop.
As an example... stock 16V cams have intake closing @ either 51(early), or 44(later)
So, if you have a spec, or found one, for the stock Blacktop cams.... I'd greatly appreciated an answer...........
thanks in advance...
What is Blacktop's intake valve closing event??

There's a table down a bit on Bill Sherwood's page listing the 20V cams
http://www.billzilla.org/4agstock.htm
I could have sworn I saw the specs listed on a Levin&Trueno magazine or something like that

Bill does have a goof on his 16V cam timing.... compare his 16V smallport exhaust timing to Toyota's shown above. He shows the cams as being mirror of each other like the early cams are, where Toyota shows slightly changed cam timing...
This makes me feel that Bill's #s are close... but not necessarily accurate. I ASSUME Catcams measured.....????

I can't find my cam maps and my notebooks are buried from a move
From what I remember, Bill's timimng event numbers were within a few (2) degrees for VVT off on the OEM blacktop cams I've measured. I don't remember which way, though.
