is this an 4ac or 4age ecu?

like title says. i have another ecu that actually says 4ag on it. but is this one for the sr5? i tried search but it kept giving me an error message. thanks.

Uh, 4ac is carbureted. Unless it says on the computer 'emissions control' it would most likely be for a fuel injected engine. Unless it has '4AG somewhere on the ECU 89661-12090 should be checked to verify it's for a 4AGE. Then you need to know whether it's for a MAP or AFM, T-vis or non T-vis. But to cut the BS, it is for a Corolla, just not sure of the specifics.

It's from a USDM AE86 GT-S. So with an AFM. It is weird that there is no 4-AG on the sticker. Might be an older one?

In the picture you can see a very faint 4ag on the right side of the sticker. Also a Google search of the ECU number brings it up as 84-86 corolla gts usdm.

wow, you're right. funny, looking at it in persin it's harder to see the fint 4 ag than in the pic. i think the flash is the reason. also did the google search. wow over$600 for a new one from toyota. thanks for your help Ratranger.

Yup gts. I don't see the 4AG I must be blind, but the part # is correct. Fyi these are pretty common used on the forums for cheap.

I couldn't see it at all either, then it suddenly clicked. reminds me of those optical illusion images, lol!
