Why PTE?

Do you have maps? Can't tell anything without maps. I couldn't find anything in a quick search.

Don't have the maps. He recommend that turbo so I was curious to see what everyone thinks. Really would like to run the garret GTX 2867r but the price is crazy high

I wouldn't look twice at a turbo that didn't have maps.
I also couldn't give you any input on a turbo that doesn't have maps.
Best you can do is search other boards for people who have run it on other cars on similar sized motors to try to get an idea of spool and peak power but that's a very rough gauge without maps.
For example one could prefer higher pressure ratios which could be a better turbo for a smaller motor. No way to know without a map. Then again one might be more geared for diesel or crazy high pressure ratios that you wold never come close to hitting.
One could flow way more volume than you need. In which case you are almost guaranteed sacrificing spool for flow that you will never need.
Shoot them an email and see if they will give you some maps. If not you might as well just get a CXracing turbo or similar.

Sounds good

Is that a map comparing a GTX to the PTE turbo you are interested in or something else?

I ran that turbo on my MK V gti and loved it, peak torque came at 2800 rpm and it felt amazing, granted the GTI is 2.0l and 12:1 compression so I would imagine peak torque would be a little later on a corolla.

Take a look at the comp CT3x 5356 and 5558.

I love PTE tech but their reliability is not the best.
