can you be more specific?

if its your DD and your just trying to lower it a couple inches get some lowering springs from eibach. the next step would be ground-controls with those lowering springs. people speak very highly of Koni inserts but you may have to modify your stock housings to use em.

I have Ksports and they are an affordable entry level full coilover. tons of height adjust ability if you need to slam it but its very stiff and unforgiving on bad roads. be warned.
beyond that get ready to spend a lot of $$$

If you just want to lower the car to give it a nice look in the cheapest way as possible with NO benefits... When I mean no benefit, I mean no function in ways that'll make your car corner any better or a better ride comfort. Cut your springs because even if you buy a set of lowering springs (ex:B&G, Eibach, Suspension Tech.. etc...) You'll just end up cutting it because once installed, it won't even drop your car close to 2 inch. You'll noticed you car's ride height is almost the same as it was before. Keep in mind that when you cut your springs, you'll also shorten the life of the shocks due travel differences. To lower your car with the full benefit of handling, it's going to cost you money and at the same time you'll have to sacrifice comfort over performance. SO... if you're just looking to lower your car with no benefit of any performance gain, then cut your springs. Other enthusiast my have different opinions but at the end of the day, you're the one driving your car so you make the decision. Lastly, I'm assuming you don't track your car or won't be tracking your car anytime soon so a well set up suspension is the last thing on your mind... Oh btw, are you from stocken, CA? ^_^

cheapest effective way. obx coilover sleeves kit for 93-98 corolla ($70). spring rate is 300 fron/6" length and 200 rear/7" length. kit is a replica of gc coilover kit. you can also get the 99 Miata obx kit. same specs just higher spring rate. get sw20 mr2 kyb agx 5 way adj front shocks for the front and ae92 rear koni yellow for the back ($400). also some gc bump stop cut in half would be nice too. the spring rate is not aggressive and you'll have adjustable height/shocks without sacrificing a comfort ride.

also just get king lowering springs for the ae82 or ae92
