AE92 4agze is what I have and I'm curious how to tell if it's bad or not...

If it's bad, would I get spark?

I'm running megasquirt and I'm not getting any rpm while cranking...obviously due to no spark?

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me....thank you

Measuring the resistance of the internal sensors would be a good start.

How exactly do I do that?

You need to use a digital multimeter to measure the resistance between the pins
in the CAS connecting plug. If you don't already have a multimeter, go and buy one.
Does not have to be an expensive one, and it will pay for itself many times over
if you are working with electrical wiring in a car.

The CAS plug will have four pins. With the meter set to measure resistance (Ohms)
test each pin against every other pin. That should give you a total of six readings.
If the CAS is testing normal, three of the readings will be 170 Ohms, and three
will be 340 Ohms, or close to these values.

Very low readings usually indicate a short circuit, and very high readings indicate
open circuit (break in a wire). Neither of these is good inside a CAS.

If the CAS tests good, check the wires that run from the CAS to the ECU to make
sure they have no breaks or bad joins. The end to end resistance should be no
more than a couple of Ohms.
