AW11 Silvertop Questions

Hello everyone. I hope that I can get the right advice that I need.
I just bought a 87 MR2 with a Silver top swap done by the previous owner. The car is running fine but I want to run it with open ITB's instead of with the MAF. What would I need to do for me to achieve this. My budget is about $500 for the moment. Please let me know.

Also on a not so related subject my Speed o stopped working? I read that this car has a speed sensor and not a speed cable. If so, what part would I need being that it has the Silver top tranny and not the U.S tranny. Please let me know as well. Pictures if possible will be of great help for both topics. Thanks

You would need a BT ECU and wire it in or get a harness made, or you would need to go with aftermarket engine management.
If you did the wiring yourself you might be able to do it for under $500.
Also note there will be no performance gain for this. It's an expensive time consuming mod for looks/sound.
