I checked the knock pins and they were in correct positions. I checked valve clearances yes. Yes i have compression tester, might test compression next weekend. Plug leads, im not sure :D my coil lead is running very close to valve cover and other plug leads so maybe there is spark jumping somewher...

I also dropped poncams in the engine. Now its running. Tomei says that idle remains smooth but my idles very lumpy and shaky, pulls good though i think, better than before. with only a small jump after adding oil, I'd say you have a valve problem on cyl 3. Most often it will be a burnt, or bent exhaust valve[s].

Use pattern in FSM. TRD recommended 48ft/#s(650±20 kg・cm). I recommend doing it in 3 passes: 25, 36, 48

Since you need reliable info... a few corrections.... intake valves are not 29.5, but 30.5. Stock chambers are 36cc

And since you are playing.... what happens if you change the valve sizes from 30.5 to 32, and from 25.5, to 27.5


As to efficiency... how did you calculate that...?????
