Re: Interest in bigger 4AGZE intake piping and TB thread
on a quick summary, the best power can be made out of the gze, just by cooling temps, and improving flow, without sacrificing velocity. 2" piping small FMIC smallport intake overdrie pulley ok, think about fluid dynamics. lets make this easy for the newbs as well. (your intended setup) everybod...

Re: Interest in bigger 4AGZE intake piping and TB thread
I don't see why the attitude. This doesn't steal my thunder or change anything at all. I was planning on using a Toyota TB but I was going to use one off a 1UZ that is something like 72mm. Most people don't have the time or the skills to make their own flanges, weld their own piping and completely ...

Re: Interest in bigger 4AGZE intake piping and TB thread
um, sorry to steal your thunder, but toyota already has OEM parts to do this, with the exception of a single piece of 2.5" intercooler piping. 63mm 7mgte throttle body(2.5")>2.5" pipe>s/c>2" piping>FMIC>2" piping>smallport n/a intake (TB butterfly removed)>head. been running...

Sorry so confusing bi just picked up a coupe shell. Noticed the fender trim and remembered one of my others has the same thing. (Under the flares. And the trunk is now cf). And am wondering if any of the 86 gurus know why these things have them. It's not a "mod" the fenders quarters and t...

Re: 4agze problems
Shoob, when I pulled the HG everything looked great, I did get a stock intake system on it, I mostly just wanted it for the break-in period and to get the engine up and running before throwing the intake mod that you had on it, eventually I will go back to it but for now stock will work. If you get...

Re: 4agze shudder
what he said, i would look into the fueling system. example: fuel pump? injector resistor pack, fpr, injectors. especially the fuel pump relay, and the contacts. after looking at those things, i would inspect the coil packs for leaking. also, numerous 4ag's ive had, if they get the slightest bit of ...

But OTOH as I said, I just did over a thousand miles and found the factory floorpan is close enough to allow my left leg to be extended equal to my right while putzing down the highway, providing good balance on the lower spine and good comfort for the driver. Which is what they're designed for, as...

Bracing in corners?? No, really? You don't need to move the left leg and do some shifting while taking corners? . Your last sentence confuses me. I dont know which side your going for..... regardless, racing seats that are reclinable and that will actually protect you are expensive. did i really ju...

Well, as a Corolla club we had serveral 4A-GZE's on a dyno with different set-ups. One guy had a bone-stock 4A-GZE with the OEM top mount intercooler and hoodscoop, a other guy had a pretty much stock 4A-GZE with a (decent setup) front mounted intercooler and that guy was pretty bummed because the ...

car sounds great!! i more interested in your suspension and tire setup. it seems your fighting way too much for traction, and from the looks of the video, either your scared/not quite comfy with the car yet, or your suspension/tires are not quite in tune. good video though, looks strong, but i perso...
