Re: CAE86 Build
Thanks guys!! In regards to the harness and ecu, I'm using both stock for now, until I can afford nistune and bigger injectors lol. And yes, the CA is under appreciated! They stopped making them because they were too expensive to make. And at the time the (racing) market demanded a more modern 2lit...

Re: SWAP: The Tweak'd Performance 2JZ/FR-S
I know, shoulda coulda woulda.... Anyway, I thought you woulda begin with a more subtle swap like a 1UZFE. Shoulda theoretically be with less issues initially.... :? Interestingly, a more direct competitor to a "monster" Miata perhaps, now that this Mazda is swapped with the all aluminum L...

Hi! yeah, me again. Check this out. Okay, it's a Celica but what he did addresses issues you mentioned. At least the majority.

Re: 1mzfe or 3vzfe into ae100 corolla wagon
Soooo.... maybe a better way WOULD be to buy a dead RX330, Avalon or such and transfer everything to the Corolla? Might be easier? I think that the ECUs of said machines are really tailored to those behemoths. Gray area again you know.

Re: Images of FWD Starlets
And now, arguably  the most sought after because of the shape and because of the latest gen 4EFTE being the stoutest of the bunch. I said arguably! The EP9 Starlet in the Glanza V trim. http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/40542_147510751932005_5281163_n.jpg and its engine ht...

Re: Images of FWD Starlets
The EP8 Starlets. These had more trim and front & rear choices depending on the sub models. Like these: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p229/shaneoex/01ss.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll66/Fudgemann/DSC00016-1.jpg http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/8991/1993toyotastarletturboj.jpg http:...

Images of FWD Starlets
AFAIK the states only got the RWD (KP60) Starlets. The rest of the world has these, the FWD (EP7,8,9) Starlets. Just broadening the minds with these images... as I'm trolling the For Sale section's threads of Elvin Wes. :!: The EP7 Starlets, MODDED of course and arguably the lightest of these 3 FWD ...

Re: 1mzfe or 3vzfe into ae100 corolla wagon
yeah, I guess a blow-by-blow account of such unusual swap will a be bit too much to ask. But he must have like, a facebook account or something in that social aspect. If you decide to go ahead with this swap, you'll be the first to document that on this site. The 1mz or other V6s in this size of cha...

Re: 1mzfe or 3vzfe into ae100 corolla wagon
so, seeming as the aw11 engine bay is pretty much a sufficient duplicate of the ae100, ae92, etc. it seems like this would be a great place to start stacking info. with the 1mz in a 2200 lbs. car, even with an automatic, it should move the vehicle fairly well, all while retaining stock reliability ...
