Would be nice to go but pretty sure I need a flatbed to get it through that dirt road. I wish they would do it at willow or something.

Re: Aukword1's Beams Swapped AE86
Which filter do you have, the C604D? How's your filter clearance? I have basically the same setup (JSP brackets, Cusco mounts, 1 inch spacers, SQ ITB adapter, 100mm SQ stacks) and without actually buying and test fitting the C604D filter I'm not finding that I have the hood clearance for its dimens...

Re: Aukword1's Beams Swapped AE86
Thanks and that is the one thing I did not do myself because I didn't have a pinion depth tool. It was cheaper for me to have a trusted shop do it than to buy the tool and do it myself. You have to take the LSD apart and pull out the old spider gears and replace them with the weir ones. Similar proc...

Re: Aukword1's Beams Swapped AE86
Because John's kit has the best engine placement I've seen and the shifter relocation kit is adjustable. Excessive's while cheaper doesn't have any room for adjustment on engine location or shifter. SQ i think makes a decent shifter relocation kit but I haven't tried it. John's stuff is worth the ex...

Re: Aukword1's Beams Swapped AE86
Hey yeah, sorry I haven't had time to update/fix the photos but I will soon. As far as A/C goes, I am not running it at all. Probably easiest way would be to run the original 86 compressor and fabricate a mounting bracket if needed. If you'd want run the Beams compressor I'd imagine you'd have to do...

Re: After market hatch question
Yeah those spots should be reinforced to allow for struts and latches. For a hatch door, it would be pretty hard to break because of its position. But it all comes down to what you are going to be doing with the car. If for show go CF, if gonna see alot of track time, I'd keep it FRP personally.

Re: After market hatch question
from personal experience, fiber glass is good enough. I've had a lot of carbon fiber on previous builds and CF will eventually yellow if the car sees sunlight and will break pretty easily if not careful. CF is for show, FRP is for everything else IMO. On a side note, Seibon has some of the best CF p...

Yeah, apparently the picture hosting site I was using decided to delete a large majority of the photos. I still have all the photo's and can host them on a different service. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, the only update I have right now is that I am currently swapping out the 30 year old brake...

I use the same paint to do my interior plastics. What adhesive do you use to make the paint stick better? The paint scratches off easily without it.

Re: Need help identifying some seats.
No fitment issues but I did have to make my own seat brackets. Mine have the mounting points at the bottom of the seat and didnt come with any rails so I took off the seat rails from SR5 seats and used those with some 1/4 steel strips.

Alright well, I'm down to bring the rolla out. Where do you guys plan on parking at?
Re: TORC?
I'm down to go, I'm not too far from Long Beach. Did you guys register your cars? I want to bring my 86 but it seems pointless if it will just sit in public parking all day but if you guys are going to I will. lmk!
