Could someone say for sure if a 20v manifold will bolt up to a 16v 4AGZE head please ?
Found a tubular one for a 20v black top that looks good for welding a turbo flange too.
Thanks

Has there been an 80/90s Toyota with a special pin stripe ? I'm wanting to put something on my old Starlet but not sure what. I like the way ford used to do it on cars like the MK1 Fiesta XR2 and also the special touches like the faded bonnet decals on the RS 1600i http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/...

That picture is deceptive, but yes my original post about the dizzy needing to be modded. That mod has now been reverted so plenty of adjustment and a stock dizzy is in place. I'm in Gillingham. The Dizzy is set at 15 degrees BTC as per Hyperpak instructions. The car does drive well, pulls well etc ...

Valid points all if you, it's my first big build so it's a steep learning curve but fun all the same.
It's possible this is as good as this build will get.

Ok so have finally got my Starlet back from the dyno. To say im disappointed is an under statement :( Firstly the Hyperpak ignition died on me, finally got another sent over from New Zealand and had to leave it with dyno shop to finish setting engine up. They've basically done a amateur job in my op...

Could you tell me what size the spline would be for the axle shafts ? Thinking about fitting one into my KP60 Starlet if it fits ?

Hyperpak ignition issues
Had a failure on Monday at the Dyno whilst setting up my 4age 16v in my Starlet. Was only using half revs and setting the fueling on the Mikuni bike carbs. All heading in the right direction and pushing the revs higher when it just died. No spark, after lots of head scratching and testing, inc tryin...

Daft question, but can you explain benefits for removing the brake booster ? Was thinking about removing mine to help with clearance issues but wondered what the brakes would be like ?
Currently pedal is rock hard with no feel as the vacuum is only coming from 1 cylinder now as I'm running carbs.

With all the excitement of getting my car up and running I've totally forgotten about running the cams in. They are Poncam's which I bought new from the states and get them shipped over. Core/freeze plug size
I think most are zinc plated. My engine sat for 15 years before I got hold of it hence the poor condition of the plugs.
Even the timing belt tensioner was seized solid, all the grease had gone where is had sat for so long.
Most engines won't be like this.
