Re: 200mm vs 212mm clutch differeces
Im pretty sure the 20v clutch kit was 212mm. Im also pretty sure that the entire clutch kit for the 20v is a direct fit to the 16v. Minus a couple of important pieces. The way I researched, you use the 20v 212mm clutch disc, the pressure plate, and the flywheel which is lighter then the 16v (which ...

200mm vs 212mm clutch differeces
So i know this has been covered before but haven't seen it on here since the old site went down. From my understanding the 86 came with the 200mm and in the later models had the 212mm? (don't quote me on that, it's just what i've heard). A buddy of mine has a 212mm clutch kit he doesn't need (for hi...

Re: Surge tank/custom fuel lines??
I guess I should have mentioned that I only have pickup problems with high sustained lateral loads. I've never driven a car with an SR5 tank, so I can't comment on whether this is better. I never had any problems when autocrossing or going slow around the track. If I'm on a hot lap and I let the ta...

Re: Aluminum Radiator question
its really up to you, the guy builing my car bought a cxracing radiator and he raves about the quality of it. tried to get me to buy one as well. I like throwing money away so I bought a koyo, and I can hardly tell the difference, besides the fact that his cost like $100 less than mine and came wit...

Aluminum Radiator question
Well I'm on a budget build and trying to get the best bang for my buck on this build process, I try not to cheap out on important parts. With that being said I don't specialize in radiators but I notice ebay has some cheap aluminum radiators I wonder if they're worth even getting (anyone have person...

Re: Surge tank/custom fuel lines??
Here's a little more food for thought. With a GTS tank, I have pickup problems when I am around 1/4 of a tank (according to my highly accurate fuel gauge) and I'm in a corner where I'm pulling more than 1 lateral g. On a fill, I put in roughly 6.7 gallons, so that seems that I have a little more th...

Here are GTS lines if you want to go the easy way: http://club4ag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1533 too much for me price wise, thanks for the offer though It's not my stuff. I thought it was a lot too. Your best (cheapest) bet is probably rubber fuel line or bending your own hard line. Happ...

Re: Surge tank/custom fuel lines??
I want to know this, too. SR5 tanks (really AE86 tanks) suck cuz they're so far off center. I want to make a fuel cell and all that cool stuff. Look at Jan Pederson's (sp?) build on the old board for inspiration. He's got the white hatch in Europe with the custom flares and BEAMS swap. the old club...

Surge tank/custom fuel lines??
For my new setup i'll need a bigger diameter fuel lines as well as baffles in the tank to prevent leaning out during cornering. Unfortunately I have a SR5 tank that doesn't have baffles and still have the small SR5 fuel lines. I was going to search for GTS lines but I was curious has anyone done wri...
