Re: WTB: set of lowering springs in SOCAL

Ya those would be nice too, a little more than I can afford at the moment though. I'm looking for real basic set of used springs, I'd prefer some thing fairly common like listed in my first post.

Re: Swift springs(8/6k) damper choice

So basically no difference, nice. Looks like I can get away with new springs and shocks for less than 300 bucks! It'll be atleast a couple years before I hit the track anyway, it will serve its purpose for now. thanks for all the very useful info!

More random things that i can do for little to no cost. :) Got an elbow from the junk yard and mocked up these intake pieces. Now i just need to find a filter that will fit (and/ or a different elbow to have more space for the filter) and make a hanger to stabilize things. just keeping busy while i ...

Re: Swift springs(8/6k) damper choice

Should probably change the title of this thread to just "damper choice" lol. just looking around at some of the low cost shocks, does anyone know why the kyb GR-2 list different part numbers for the fronts for 84-85 and 86-87? I didnt think there was a difference in shocks/ struts for all ...

taking the advice duece, selling off the 8/6kg swifts. Sounds like the espelirs are nice for daily. jondee86 - so you are running AGX with the espelirs? is what you're saying above that with a little preload you are still in the useable stroke range of the AGX?
