I see 1-3 rod caps have been shaved a bit, and the 1 & 4 thinner counterweights have new holes. Everything is so clean, it's hard to tell which of the larger counterweights has new balancing. Is that an optical illusion, or are those domes coated? I guess it's the rougher surface not reflecting...

Could also be advanced it depence on the installation or do I miss something? The belt lenght between the markings for the crank pulley and the stock exhaust pulley is fixed. Nicely done! ty... :D all finished, and re-assembled, with 7 of 8 intakes valves now set @ .006", and one @ .007", and on the exhaust side there are 7 valves now @ .008", and one @ .009" Packed with dummy cams to keep the shims in place, as well as not having any valves exposed ...

I got my A42DL. There are electrical harnesses going into it, one on drivers side other on passenger side where shift lever is. Any idea what they are? I suspect one by shifter is neutral safety/ reverse light? I believe....neutral start switch, and overdrive while not cheap... I recommend a Toyota...

interesting never seen a head mapped out like that I picked up a new project and started researching it and found some info from a DTM race motor you have to click on the racing engine to get info on the 1990's straight six DTM engine and go down and see what they did to the head https://translate....

"plenty of torque" is relative tq from a boosted motor, on another level than its normally aspirated counterpart... hence different gearing requirements the extra gear won't do anything for acceleration, in the examples listed For your build, the J160 is a perfect application imo.... exac...
