Ah, thanks for the clarification. It's actually very similar to tumbling bullet casings for reloading ammunition except its a different type of media used. Very cool!

Great work as always! Quick question though, what does "tumbling" the head consist of? Is it similar to tumbling bullet casings?

Re: Newb question on how to guide for ITBs on JDM 4AG Bluetop w/ MAP
You will definitely need either a standalone ECU or a piggyback like an hks fcon or something. You can run a vacuum line from each TB from the adapter plate to a vacuum block if you want but it's not absolutely necessary. Instead, you can tune the fuel map via throttle position and not MAP. Really u...

the IACV has nothing to do with timing. Just remove the 5 bolts and inspect it. You can try boiling it in water to see if it functions normally.

Re: UPDATE! Gas coming out of fuel neck nozzle...
follow the lines coming from the gas tank, there should be three of them. The easiest way for me to find mine was to put a rubber hose on the opening and blow air into it. If you hear/feel the air making bubbles at the other end, that is your vent tube. When blowing on the other one it will feel lik...

looks good man! Also, regarding the brake booster you will be fine running it with the rx7 calipers. I run the stock booster still with the biggest wilwood kit that T3 makes just fine.

If you contact T3 they can send you a wheel fitment template for that kit. I have the big daddy brake kit from T3 and it will fit 15x8 0 offset just fine. Since you have the baby version, you probably have more options when it comes to offsets and sizes.

You need to get it converted to r-134a, I don't know the exact process but any a/c shop can do it. Found a video that might be worth a watch for general info

WTB Cluster & Interior trim
Looking for a broken/non working gauge cluster. Doesnt matter if its GTS or SR5, just looking to use it for some frp modeling. Also looking for the driver and passenger kick panels as well as the lower door trim pieces. Doesn't matter the color or condition.
Thanks for looking.

Re: ITB's, Coilpack, Haltech ECU installation for 16v
Post pics of your distributor ;) With ITB's you wont get very stable MAP sensor readings. Most tuners will tune it based off of your throttle position. Do yours run off MAP or TP? TP but I do have a MAP sensor installed and a vacuum line from each TB to a vacuum block. Readings are still all over t...

Re: ITB's, Coilpack, Haltech ECU installation for 16v
With ITB's you wont get very stable MAP sensor readings. Most tuners will tune it based off of your throttle position. I am not familiar with Haltech ECU's or their software but most ECU software should have a testing section where you can test each ignition coil and have them spark. This way you ca...

Then that might be a short in the line. If the adjustment is off it will act like that but only once, it wouldn't do it continuously.

Re: Smog exemption???
So regarding the CA exhaust laws, anything past the catalytic converter is okay under CA law to modify. That's coming from the owner of an exhaust shop. They get into big trouble if they modify anything between header and cat. Also, according to SEMA, the CA exhaust law introduced in January 2019 is...
