Re: 20V BT with velocity stacks, stock ECU questions
It seemed to run fine when I first put the stacks on a few weeks ago. I didn't make any changes other than add a catch can, and filled up the tank added octane booster. To eliminate a variable I took the catch can out of the PCV loop. Seemed to run the same. One thing I did note is that when the iss...

Re: 20V BT with velocity stacks, stock ECU questions
I did install a new battery so it was disconnected for at least 15 minutes. I thought it would have learned while driving around for the 45 minutes but maybe not. I'll try it again and see if it gets better. OK drove around for anther hour or so, it won't take more than 1/4 throttle without sputteri...

20V BT with velocity stacks, stock ECU questions
I installed the Technotoy Tuning stacks on my BT and am getting some odd running issues. I have an Auto ECU, 5 speed in an AE82. Running on streets it would not take more throttle above 3k for a while, then it would. First run on the freeway it ran fine, but after running around for 30 minutes on su...

Re: 87 Corolla FX (FWD) GT-S PART OUT
Do you know what rear struts it has? Looking for the stock ones, no aftermarket. Probably a long shot. Also how much for the front struts, no springs? I can provide Fed Ex call tag for shipping. Can you email me at sales@fastbrakes.com?

20V BT water pipe question
On the back side of the head, connecting the water pump outlet to the head, there is a cast water passage or something similar. Are there gaskets that go between that piece and the waterpump and head? If so are there replacements available? Mine drips every once in a while and I'd like to replace th...

Re: Shock inserts for corolla AE82
I have some rear MR2 SW20 adjustable shocks on the front of my FX16. I thought they were shorter than the stock inserts, but they are only about 1/4" shorter. They do have much better damping than the originals. I have researched different insert lengths for a while and have found that only the...

Optimum timing
Searched the forums but couldn't find anything about the best setting for the BT. A local engine swap contact who mentioned the BT would run better with advanced timing didn't tell me what he ran and he has since moved to WA.
