Re: Rich idle / ignition advance backwards??
Can someone give me a MAP sensor part number if they have it handy? I have a few of them. I bought a supposed ST (AE101) sensor but it's not the same part number as any I have that look identical from the junk yard. I'm using all ST sensors also.

you need to confirm TDC before you do anything else..... already did twice and had someone else check it out. I think what you might not be understanding is that the timing marks, although all lined up according to the marks on the backing plate and the stock timing gears, might not actually be deg...

If you could ship just the wheels without tires I would be interested if the price is right. Let me know if you might want to do that.

I'm interested but can't justify that much right now as its for 3rd project in line. If you have these come spring I'll be extremely interested. Not trying to waste your time or offend you but if you came down on price quite a bit I might take you up on these.

Re: T3 crank pulley alignment, 20v st
I take it that you also realise that the Blacktop 20V ones are different to everything else too. From memory the BT 20V cambelt drive pulley is wider and the crank pulley is narrower, so a mismatch of the wrong cambelt drive pulley will also put the alternator belts etc out of alignment. Yea I've g...

Re: So, how are they selling?
I tried one one.. id rather get an S2000. I'm with you on this although I love the car. Performance wise, a nice S2000 would be a great car but not much cheaper for a nice AP2. An AP1 is hard to find in decent condition anymore. I would honestly take a new MX-5 over the FRS/BRZ. I think Toyota need...

Thanks Jondee, you always seem to be helping people out. I'll report back shortly but I have sent it back to T3 to take a look. It seems, when I eyeball it, if I used a RWD alternator that it would line up perfectly. As for the WP pulley, I did not try different combinations. I just hope I can retai...

Re: 4AGE not running right, help is appreciated
Both time and patience are needed with these cars. As others have stated, cam timing may be off. Check compression as well, who knows if the P.O. put the cams in correctly or checked valve lash. Could be mechanical, could be electronic. If you were in Ohio I would help you out :/

T3 crank pulley alignment, 20v st
Has anyone else has issue with T3's or any other aftermarket crank dampener with the depth being incorrect (too far out) and therefore the alternator belt and wp pulleys don't line up. Also the T3 pulley has marks at 12:00 which my ST is at 2:00. I think I have gotten a T3 FWD or even a MR2 dampener...

Reading all of this just makes me love my car more. It's a labor of love. One that few people enjoy b/c they don't want to do their own work and maintain anything or fix anything. I absolutely adore my AE's and I cringe at how little the car is actually worth if we are being honest. But you just don...

Having worked at a part store for more years than I want to admit (and that was only 3), parts listings aren't always correct for our cars. Its best to look up parts on a place like RockAuto.com and get pics of the part you need and give the place you are shopping at the part number(s). The company ...

Let me know what you have or even a decent one that's available and not outrageous. Several companies seem to be out of stock. T3 I love their products but they seem a little high.
