I installed a very cheap (under $5) voltmeter off of Amazon (some retailer out of China) in the spot in my dash where the aftermarket cruise control used to be. When I got the car, the original temperature gauges on the oem cluster did not work. There was indeed an aftermarket water-temp gauge installed, but it was in Fahrenheit ( Yes, I go by Metrics :P). One of the first things I did when I got mine was indeed to bleed the brakes and throw in some Hawk pads... Nothing beats the fresh pedal feel with new pads.

1.5 is Full lock in acceleration and Half lock in deceleration. So when you let of the throttle, it will not exactly act like an open diff and will give you slight lock. But not as much as a 2 way with full lock decel. Also, I'm rocking a welded diff at the moment. And I don't have any understeer is...
