Re: 4AGZE conversion
Yes they are different. The trigger wheel tooth count is not the same, GZE has more teeth.

Re: 4AGE Turbo Setups and numbers
That's the turbo I would've bought if I had more money. But the BW new was $750ish. It's close to the old 50mm T3 specs but with new technology.

4AGE Turbo Setups and numbers
I'm probably alone in thinking this, but I'd like to revive this thread from the old forum. I want to see what people are running setupwise and what the results are. I've yet to dyno mine but it's somewhere close to 200 hp I'm assuming. AW11 GZE Block Arias 82mm 8.6:1 Pistons Stock gze rods Stock gz...

I'm very interested in the AE92 gze pistons. Can you send me some pics and shipping quote? Thanks.

Re: Where to buy (specific) turbo? GT2554
I actually have something similar to what your looking for. I have a used r34 gtr rb26 stock turbo which is t25 flanged and ball bearing. It's pretty close to a gt2554. If you're interested email me xanmanae86@yahoo.com.

WTB: Rear seats, 7 rib block, Splash Guards (Central PA)
No preference on rear seat color, just something that is ripped or falling apart like mine, it's for a hatch. Looking for a 7 rib block that's in usable condition, it'll be machined to 82 mm so some out of round is okay just not excessive. I also need both front inner fender liners in half decent sh...

Re: Late Model 4agze COP coil things
The gze wasted spark coils are the same as 7mgte coils. You should still be able to order them new from Toyota. If you need the wiring harness connector, its part number 90980-11246. You can order those from Toyota as well, they're pretty cheap too. Just make sure you dont flip the wires when switch...

Re: Hachi not starting?
So are you having a cranking issue or a running issue? It's hard to tell from all the explanations. The relay that everyone is making a big deal about controls power to the fuel pump, and should only really click on when you're cranking because the afm will close the contacts and kick it on. If you'...

Re: Help Me Start My Build!!
Ae86 wiper arms have screw on type wipers from the factory. Toyota blades aren't very expensive and you can put inserts on them instead of completely replacing them. The speakers are fairly easy to replace when you pop the covers off, just a few screws and any universal speakers should fit without m...

Re: AE86 custom trueno headlight? Pics?
I'll be redoing mine here soon. I tried to use the factory popup frame as a base but its kinda on the heavy side and too much crap in the way of all the lighting hardware. I'll be making a thin framework that can be sealed with polycarbonate plates around the sides and bottom with the factory cover ...

Re: R-134a retrofit?
Just replace your receiver/dryer and all the o rings in the system just in case, install adapter fittings then pull a vacuum on the system. If it holds about 28-29in then you're golden, no leaks at compressor, condenser or the evaporator. Or at least no massive ones. Then just charge it up with some...

Here's a preview of mine. They are unfinished obviously because there's no lexan to protect the projector lens yet. The projectors are from an E92 3 series and use D1S hids. They look better in person honestly lol. I think it looks weird in pics. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w22/XanManAE86/092...
