For the crossmember i was going to see about getting a custom one made locally, until a friend pointed out this from XcessiveManufacturing. It's currently holding my w58 up under my car. Figured for $100 it wouldn't hurt to try it. Once it's bolted up it's doesn't move as I was kind of worried about...

Yes lets! Trying to get the word out has been a very slow process. It seems so many people put up other crap that has nothing to do with real life that they just think this is another one of those things. bleh.

Yes lobe pointing up, which leaves the base of the cam facing the shim, that's where you need to check clearence, what's the most clearence one can have? on a Cold engine: intake 0.006"-0.010" exhaust 0.008"-0.012" I just put bigport cams in my late ae92 4agze, and went through ...
