Re: What happened here

This is a great discussion. I've got lots to say too, as I've been directly watching traffic in and out of this site, as well as automotive trends and consumer base from a industry view as well. Lots have happened in the years since internet forum was a gathering place for many. And Club4AG was one ...

Re: So, how are they selling?

Not to resurrect and old topic but the new Toyota 86 now they are called in the USA too, is selling fine. It is much slower than at the launch of the FR-S in 2013 but still outpacing all other sports cars including Porsche Cayman and Mazda Roadster, as well as Fiat 124 Spider. Only sports car sellin...

Re: Next gen Toyota Supra (MKV) spied

Well, they still seem to be hard at work in Germany on the Nurburgring. Stay Tuned. :)
CE Tada of Toyota 86 is superseding the whole process too, with the correct frame of mind on what Supra needs to be. All the attributes and yet twisted to fit the minds of 2016.

Re: Oil Temp sensor mounting??

So those are another engine and application but you get the point... They are usually made from pieces and a shop can put together various parts needed for a AE86 and 4A-GE applicaiton.

Re: Oil Temp sensor mounting??

On a 4A-GE because of the location under the header (exhaust manifold) it is best to buy a relocation kit so that both filter, sensor plate/block, are out in a more accessible area for the sake of more accurate reading, as well as ease of oil filter changes, and sensor wire protection. Also a oil co...

Re: AE82 rear suspension design

Moto-P, would you recommend for or against poly bushings? Thanks Guys. P.S. Will post a pic soon. Well the use of polyurethane or rubber really depends on locations, and your preference on handling. Polyurethane is best when very sticky tires are used, and accordingly, with very stiff suspension se...

Re: tire sizing

15x8.0 is the wheel size and not the offset. Offset is the postion of the wheel hub center in relation to the wheel rim, and is measured in millimeters. There is no way to stretch a tire on the same wheel as it only mounts one way on the same given wheel. To stretch a 195/50-15 tire, you need to get...

Re: SOCAL - Anyone still track their car anymore?

Well, track sessions and operators have done nothing to discourage or prevent any AE86's from coming. But for some reason, there haven't been many out there these days. One reason I can attest to be true is that AE86 has become in the last 10 years, VERY expensive and time consuming to upkeep from t...
