Re: 4agze new clutch options
First job would be to see what flywheel you currently have. 200mm flywheels have the ring gear proud of the flywheel circumference and on the 212mm flywheel the ring gear is the same diameter as the pressure plate mounting face. So if you can see the flywheel by the sump that will be handy or else y...

Yeah, high pressure fuel on 1 side of the regulator and low pressure on the other. The regulator sets the fuel pressure.

Re: Fuel line question
You have an internal fuel rail in the inlet manifold and the fuel travels from the rear to the front and out through the regulator. Tom's did a bolt on adjustable FPR but very rare these days, you may be able to convert the original regulator with a B&M kit or use an adapter and remote mount an ...

Re: Fuel line question
The fuel return is at the front of the engine from the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) there's a short hose about 3 inches long between the FPR and the steel pipework under the throttles. The fuel feed is at the back of the engine through a banjo fitting. The manual states there should be 34-40 psi of...

Oil pan is FIPG sealer.
Oil pump has a gasket.
Each injector has 4 o-rings, 2 fuel, 1 to seal against the manifold and the other is on top between the injector and retaining plates.

Oh and on the arches it is approximately 8mm of white and then into black in the above photo. This is another thing that can drastically change the appearance of the 2 tone paint job.

Using the deepest point of the concave body line on the wings, doors and 1/4s measure down 30mm for the change of colour. The top of the side moldings are then a further 55mm from there for a total of 85mm from the top of the molding to the body line reference point. The rear of the car is different...

99% sure its a tapered 1/4" BSP (BSPT) plug that you need rather than a 1/4" NPT plug.

Re: Can anyone tell me the horn wires plug wires?
From what I can tell from the ae86 electric diagram....the white wire is the power wire and the green and red wire goes to the steering wheel and when you push the horn button it grounds via the steering column shaft...can someone correct me? Yeah the white wire with red rings comes out of the engi...

Consider Run as ON.
The black and red wire is +B so it powers up the ecu and T-VIS solenoid and is in the Diagnosis box as +B.
The black and orange is used only for the ignition coil and igniter.

Use the original wires where possible. So use the black and red ecu power wire to power up the ecu, use the coil and igniter power wire to power up your new coil(s) this is probably black and orange.

Re: 4age on bike carbs
You can connect your new pump to the original wiring at the tank. If you decide to connect the Green and Red wire to a dash switch with the other side of the switch connected to ground that will work fine but from a safety point of view in an accident the fuel pump will keep pumping unless you consc...

Re: 4age on bike carbs
You will need a fuel pump so you will need a relay so you might as well keep the Circuit Opening Relay (COR) It has 5 wires but you will only need 3, I don't know AW11 wire colours but they may be similar to an AE86. Black and Red is ignition positive, equivalent to pin 30 and 85 combined. Black and...

Re: 4age on bike carbs
1. The tacho signal comes from the igniter (black wire with red rings in an AE86) it is also in the diagnosis connector as IG- if you trace this wire inside the car you can find where to connect your new ecu output to it. Also you may need to use a tacho adapter between your ecu and the rev clock, t...

You could pop the pins out of the connectors and fit the US connectors to the jdm lamps.
I don't now if you have a park light in the US like the JDM lamp shown.

Re: 20V BT BOGGY UNDER 4K
The blacktop VVT operation is off at low rpm, on during mid rpm and off again at high rpm (your cam spec will determine what your engine prefers), unlike the silvertop that is off below 4400rpm(ish) and on above that rpm. Check for fault codes, make sure the throttle position sensor is set within sp...

Silvertop is non interference but blacktop is interference.
Yes the 20v head will bolt on, check piston to valve clearance. (you should have plenty but check anyway)

Using this:

and inputting the stock 14" Intra wheel spec of 6j +21 against yours, you need 32mm of spacing just to match the inner wheel to strut clearance.
