Re: facebook "killing forums" ?

My question would be: If you removed the forums from the internet entirely, would the facebooks, instaqgrams, twitters, etc... be able to supply the knowledge base and instructional ability that a forum does? Many facebook users still reference forums as a resource for builds and tutorials. If that ...

I used to meet Son Tran who does amazing wheel repair in this lot after Autobach's closed its doors. He did work out of this lot up until last year I believe. He now has a building somewhere I think.

Beautiful wheels! These would fit and look SO good on my car but I cant budget for them at this time. Hit me up in PM if they are still available down the road or if you adjust your price at any time in the future. I would seriously consider them.

Took a screenshot a while ago off a CL ad which appears to have a storefront. Was looking to turn a pair of reps into garage chairs but never got around to it. Prices looked good and if you call you can let everyone else know what they have to offer and at what prices. http://i26.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Appraise My Wheels Please? Enkei 92 15x10 -14 & -24

I agree with everyone above in regards to the value of the wheels. Fiveteen makes an amazing point about the age of the person you ask, and this also applies to whether you are seeking the value of them just to know, or if you are looking to value them to sell. Selling items is greatly dependent on ...

Re: Noob question hour! AE86 brakes?

How long has it been since the brake fluid was changed completely? Brake fluid is hygroscopic, so it naturally absorbs moisture. Might be a good idea to flush all the old fluid out with new after replacing the old rubber lines. Might as well get a good set of pads in there while doing this work also...

I've always wanted an 86 (big Inital D fan, can't help it), but I've had a plethora of other cars and curious to know what everyone's favorite car(s) they've had besides the 86? I've got 2 that I'd really like to own again. So what's everybody got? Not making a big deal of it, but just trying to ke...

Re: the plan after i sell the celica

I question the wheel size as well. 17's are one thing if its your preference for the street, but for racing on tracks and in circuits, I would think 15's would more suit your needs as far as performance and weight are concerned. I run 16x9 and 16x10 Panasport C8-R multipiece wheels which I love for ...

Re: Macco or equivalent paint jobs.

I have had cheap paint jobs and also have fairly expensive paint jobs. All I can say is, the cheap stuff is so thin, and the clear coat is so thin that it becomes more of a nuisance and ends up being more work trying to keep it from peeling, chipping, or getting damaged by environmental factors. I a...
